I thought it may be good to follow up with some insight on the paint finishes that are out there and what the differences are. I know it took me some time to understand where a satin, semi-gloss or matte finish would go! Lighting, wall texture and even traffic in the area are all considerations for what type of finish you select. For example, the finish in your master bedroom is probably not the same finish you would have in your kitchen. Sherwin Williams helps us sort it all out in the video link below.
